Double sided adhesive tapes

Double-sided adhesive tapes are tapes that have adhesive properties on both sides after the liner has been removed. This can be produced either by having a backing material in the center, which is provided with adhesive on both sides, or by the adhesive itself acting as a tape due to its internal nature. Thin versions of the latter tapes are also called double-sided adhesive films. As a specialist in surface bonding technology, we at AMZ have a wide range of double-sided adhesive tapes in our program. Click the button now and discover our selection:

Gummed paper tapes

Unlike other adhesive tapes, which are always self-adhesive, gummed paper tapes obtain their adhesive properties by moistening the adhesive surface. This process activates a special starch that temporarily gives the tape a strong adhesion to paper and cardboard. The background of this process is not only an ecological thought, since the tapes are not equipped with a chemical adhesive, but also a better shelf life, since the starch is durable for a long time in dry storage. The tapes also offer a security advantage, as they are impossible to remove from packages without leaving residue.
